This traditional Chardonnay has been aged for 6-months in French Oak, leaving it with a hint of almond on the finish. 2017 Silver Medal Winner. Winemaker’s remarks: “With light hints of vanilla and butter, this is my favorite way to make Chardonnay: not too heavy of an oak flavor.”
2015 harvest: the best reds ever at Sanders Ridge. Rich currant and light spice with hints of vanilla on the finish. Winemaker’s remarks: “This one cries out for rich, dark chocolate brownies.”
Bright blend of our whites: unoaked Chardonnay, Viognier, and Muscat Canelli. Lightly floral nose of summer honeysuckles with hints of kiwi, lycee and citrus. Winemaker’s remarks: “Blends are truly my favorite to make. With this one, we added just enough Muscat to give it those characteristics.”
Spicy berry and toasty oak notes, beautiful rich claret color, and an earthy finish. Winemaker’s remarks: “This vintage of Cabernet Franc aged quite nicely, and over its time in the bottle, it has become my favorite of the reds from the class of 2015- the best reds ever at Sanders Ridge.”
A Bordeaux-style blend of the Cabs – Franc & Sauvignon, plus Merlot. Rich oak, chocolate and coffee notes, this blend is the perfect marriage of a smooth finish and rich flavors. “We’re so excited to have this favorite back on our menu. We don’t get the opportunity to make this blend often, so we celebrate while we can! We only make this from vintages that are truly exceptional.”
This French/American hybrid is a dry red, easy to drink and perfect with pizza and BBQ. Dark as night, smokey nose and berries are highlights of the Chambourcin.
This is a free run-meaning we captured the pure juice as the weight of the grapes pressed down to release the fresh juice. We didn’t press this grape in the traditional manner, meaning the first juices are much lighter and resemble a Pinot Grigio in light flavor. Still has that beautiful muscadine nose and grapy quality, but without the sugar! This one is bone dry and do beautifully light. Limited edition wine.
Named after Sanders Ridge owner Neil’s beloved ’57 Chevy. This off-dry Chambourcin has light spice, and a softly sweet smooth finish. Reminescent of Sweet Kate’s blackberry crisp, not too sweet – and you’ll always go back for seconds. Winemaker’s remarks: “This is a fantastic food wine just light enough for fish, but still has the body for a steak.”
Lightly sweet with hibiscus on the nose, citrus and lycee kiwi fruit notes. Not too sweet with a clean, crisp finish. Our 2012 vintage was voted the best White Wine in the entire state! Winemaker’s remarks: “A favorite in our house- we use Sweet Muscat Canelli in our stir fry, and drink the rest!”
Named after owner Neil’s 98 year-old mother, Kate, this selection is a best-seller. Winemaker’s remarks: “Sweet Kate is a rich red wine made with our supremely smooth Chambourcin red grape. With its fruit-forward nature, it is the perfect grape for a little sweetness.” Rich berry notes, velvety smooth finish.
Sweet, juicy, aromatic, & richly flavorful. Reminiscent of summer evenings at grandma’s. 2017 Gold Medal Winner. Winemaker’s remarks: “Quite possibly the most difficult wine we process, but after you break through the tough skin, it releases an aromatic juice that makes a beautiful golden wine.”
Back by popular demand! Peachy sweet nose with light mango finish. Winemaker’s remarks: “This wine reminds me of peach ring candy with a light mango twist; it really brings back childhood memories.”
This is your tropical getaway! Rich, fresh pineapple, but not too sweet. Winemaker’s remarks: “Our Pineapple Wine has always reminded me of candied pineapple pieces. “
Our Noble Muscadine & with rich Blackberry liquor mingle for a perfect silky smooth premium dessert wine! Winemaker’s remarks: “This quickly became my favorite dessert wine, and when paired with key lime pie or a rich cheesecake, it’s a delightful finish to any meal. “
The same blend as the dry version-Chardonnay, Viognier and Muscat Canelli. Stainless steel aged, 5% residual. Pronounced honeysuckle nose and balanced sweetness.
