You'll find only quality from both the Sanders Ridge wines and Hearth Restaurant dishes.  We continue our partnership with Executive Chef and Hearth Owner Christian Froelich. Christian owns/manages the Hearth Restaurant at Sanders Ridge while the Shore family continues to manage the winery, organic farm and Big Woods Ziplines. Chef Christian continues to use our USDA certified organic veggies in his seasonally based menus. Come out and visit a truly family owned and operated local business - you'll find our families smiling faces behind the tasting bar, in the cellar and in the restaurant.  Christian knows food and we know wine!  A perfect partnership!


Christian is an NC native and received his Culinary Degree from Johnson & Wales University.  He brings almost 20 years of fine dining experience having worked at Noble's Restaurants; the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead, Atlanta; Sonoma Restaurants (Chef de Cuisine); Del Frisco's (Sous Chef) in Charlotte; and most recently as Executive Chef at the Twin City Quarter in downtown Winston-Salem.


His style is Classic European with a strong Carolinian and Modern American influences.  His menus are inspired by the season using our own organically grown vegetables and other local products as much as possible.  


And lastly, but most importantly, is his family.  Christian is married to his high school sweetheart, Christina and they have two children - Sean and Elena.

We are open to the public for Lunch and Supper (that's Dinner in Yadkinese) and we also provide full service private event dining


Our Menu is New Southern and includes a variety of daily entree specials featuring in-season vegetables and herbs from the gardens of Sanders Ridge Farm as well as produce, meats and cheeses from other local farms.



Dine inside by the fireplace, or out on our wide front porches and deck.  Picnics and take-out from our restaurant are also available.  No outside food or picnics allowed on our grounds - we appreciate your respect!

Reservations for any group size are recommended! 


There is a $2 per person cake cutting fee
for outside desserts cut and plated in our restaurant.  No charge if you provide your own serviceware.
