Butter Beets
(Handed down to Mariena Shore by her Mother, Edith)

1 pint beets - sliced
2 Tablespoons butter
6 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon flour
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar

1) In a sauce pan, mix flour, butter,  water, and vinegar

2) Add sugar last and boil until thick

3) Add the beets and bring to boil.
