for the 8th Annual Yadkin Valley Wine Festival that will be held Saturday May
16, 2009 at the Elkin Municipal Park. SAVOR wine from more than 28 Yadkin Valley
wineries & vineyards, enjoy great music, great food and leave with WONDERFUL
memories. Entertainment for the Festival will commence at 11:00 a.m. with music
by the Natty Bo Duo. Big Daddy Love will play from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30p.m.
Headliner band Legends of Beach (with Jackie Gore) will perform from 3:00p.m.
until 6:00p.m. Tickets are $16 in advance or $20 at the gate. Tickets can be
purchased at the Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce Office, 116 E. Market St. or
by phone at 877 SAVOR YV (728-6798).
Volunteers are still needed for the Wine Festival. Volunteer for at least two
hours and receive a free wine festival t-shirt and tasting band.
