Sanders Ridge Organic Farm is sister farm to the Sanders Ridge Vineyard & Winery and is located at 1501 Nebo Road in Boonville NC.

We produce USDA Certified organic vegetables and herbs - pretty much year round.

We sell our produce through our Sanders Ridge Food Guild (also referred to as a CSA) via seasonal Membership Shares which are delivered weekly.

The 2012 Food Guild will be our 7th - and we anticipate - our BEST yet! In addition to Neil and I we will also incorporate the shared knowledge, creativity, and the man (and WOman) power of 2 additional folks,  Joe Doughtery and Kelly Fortkiewicz (Kelly is "Lavender Annie" to many of you who have enjoyed her unique and wonderful soaps, balms, and lotions at our Cobblestone Farmers Market stand).

Joe and Kelly are an energetic couple with many diverse skills and talents and we are excited to have them working the farm with us.  With them on board we'll have the additional hands to offer the gardening workshops, farm tours, and other added value products and services folks have been asking for!  (I hope to even have enough time to get back to writing and posting the News From the Farm journal  - like in the good old days...)

We hope that you will join us and enjoy all that we have to offer from the farm in 2012!  (See Activities list below)

You can find our produce at area Farmers Markets and in the delicious meals served by Chef Starr Johnson at our Restaurant.

Sanders Ridge Organic Farm is also involved in helping others interested in learning about and transitioning to sustainable farming, gardening, and land stewardship.

Our mission is to promote by example and through outreach activities, direct connections between local growers and consumers, and assist in building a regional sustainably produced and distributed food supply which will provide consumers with reasonably priced, healthy and nourishing food - and farmers an equitable compensation for their efforts.
