Birding & Nature Walk & Talk with Ron Morris

Join us for a moderate to easy hike through the woodland, lake, and stream trails here Sanders Ridge.  Trail Guide Ron Morris will point out and introduce participants to bird and plant species found along the trail.  Every month will offer different things to discover and view along the trails.

Reservations must be made one week prior to the walk date so that we may plan accordingly...  Don't forget to make reservations to join us for lunch afterwards 336 677-1701.

Ron Morris retired in 2006 after 32 years in the zoo profession, the last 24 years at the NC Zoological Park.  He has led eco-safaris to many countries and has traveled extensively in Africa, Australia, Europe, Latin America, the US and the Caribbean.  Past President of Audubon Society of Forsyth County, he co-authors the Winston-Salem Journal column Bird’s Eye View with Phil Dickinson.

What to Bring:      Sturdy walking shoes.  Optional: binoculars
Cost:                    $10/person prepaid and hikers must register/cancel at least one week in advance, dates to register in parenthesis.  Refunds given if cancellation given with 48 hour notice.  Must have at least 6 registered walkers to conduct tour.
